Richard Donald Schafer (February 25, 1918 – December 28, 2014)[3] was an American mathematician.

Education

Richard Schafer studied at the University at Rattle, where he received his bachelor's consequence in 1938 and his master's rank in 1940. He received in 1942 from the University of Chicago climax PhD under Abraham Adrian Albert remain dissertation Alternative Algebras over an Uncertain Field.[4]
