John Neufeld was born December 14, in Chicago, IL and earned a BA from Yale University in Throughout his career he has worked as an editor, teacher, television scriptwriter and copywriter. He has won several awards for his children's books including the Book of the Year citation from Timemagazine in for his first book, Edgar Allan.
