They each bring passion and enthusiasm to the music. Individual bios are below. Come see ABC perform, or hire them for event/venue. You won't be disappointed!
Anthony Alosi (bass guitar & lead vocals):
Anthony is a veteran of the Bay Area music scene. He has performed or shared the bill with many national and top local acts over the past three decades, including Frontline, Pride and Joy, Chris Isaak, Squeeze, America, Level 42, and Toy Matinee - to name a few. A multi-instrumentalist as a child, he ultimately decided to focus his energy on the bass in the late 1980s and began to study with renowned instructor Mark Stefani. Anthony enjoys playing all styles and uses several custom-made left-handed basses built for him by Dan Ransom and Gary Brawer of Real Guitars.
His credo as a bassist is to 'Serve the song' and 'Respect the groove'.
Brian Osborn (guitar & backing vocals):
Brian began playing guitar over 40 years ago (after starting with piano and trombone). His love of guitar stemmed from the musicians he admired - including Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Edward Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Alex Lifeson, Robben Ford, Steve Lukather, and Eric Johnson. Over the years, Brian has performed, recorded, and written with various musicians and groups. He's had the opportunity to gig around the U.S. (including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland) as well as in Australia - performing covers and original music. He's shared bills with prominent artists such as Jesse Dayton and members of the Neville family.
To this day, Brian continues to love creating music with others.
Tim Whipple (drums & backing vocals):
Tim has toured the U.S. and Europe as a drummer, percussionist and choral singer, working around his day jobs in music publishing and then tech startups. Although Tim's studies at the University of Miami School of Music were in jazz and classical genres, his true musical passion is for the classic rock he grew up listening to that ABC masterfully interprets for today's audiences.
Tim is so devoted to preserving that classic rock drum sound that he still plays the drum kit he got for Christmas 1974.
